Elastic Scaling — Add Nodes Live — screen 1 — Zaris at four nodes, replication factor two, serving traffic. To grow, we don't touch the existing nodes — we add more.

Elastic Scaling — Add Nodes Live — screen 2 — Scale out to six. Two nodes join, Zaris regenerates the partition map across all six and migrates data to the new members — automatically, while the cluster keeps serving. A client running throughout sees zero errors.

Elastic Scaling — Add Nodes Live — screen 3 — When it settles, the data is spread evenly across all six nodes, still at replication factor two — more capacity, same guarantees, no downtime.
